- Code programs following defined technical specifications.
- Develop test plans and/or detailed technical specifications for programs.
- Develop interfaces with external systems and equipment.
- Design and maintain systems for data storage, location, and retrieval.
- Develop and implement systems and/or applications with multiple screens, interfaces, tables, and complex outputs.
- Create optimized data extracts, updates, and interfaces.
- Design advanced user interface functionalities.
- Collaborate with functional specialists to ensure the integrity and design of solutions.
- Understand complex relationships between tables, entities, module flows, and system integrations (APIs).
- Design test data to validate program accuracy.
- Observe or execute program tests using sample or real data; assist in user acceptance training. Resolve questions regarding program intent, input data acquisition, time sharing, output requirements, code usage and modification, and the inclusion of internal checks/code reviews for system integrity.
- Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation (Design Review Committee - DRC), Security Review Committee - SRC, DevOps, classes and methods).
- Participate in SCRUM meetings, submit weekly reports, and respond to technical emails.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to processes and systems.
- Master all functions related to the IT department.
- Submit timely timesheets.
- Participate in the deployment and timely delivery of developed applications.
- Maintain a working knowledge of technological advancements. Identify applicable solutions and implement them with existing networks when appropriate.
- Serve as an escalation point for problem resolution, even outside of business hours.
- Work seamlessly with all IT teams to ensure a high level of IT support at all levels. Promote collaboration among IT teams and maintain positive relationships with employees.
- Communicate risks in engagements promptly to internal clients and managers.
- Share knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared across the Jabil organization, maintaining discretion and confidentiality in all areas related to proprietary data and information, whether internal to Jabil or client-specific.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations associated with this position and as directed by the supervisor.
- May perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and procedures (i.e., Safety, Health, Security, and Quality).
