  • Supervise and coordinate the implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) within the MRO environment.
  • Monitor daily maintenance operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct safety risk assessments, hazard identification, and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in and lead SMS audits, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide training and awareness sessions on safety policies, SMS principles, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Maintenance teams to strengthen the safety culture.
  • Support investigations of incidents, irregularities, or potential hazards, ensuring lessons learned are implemented.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
  • At least 2 years of aviation experience in CRS or OMA (Quality, Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, Inspection, or Training areas).
  • Completed Technical (Professional or Intermediate) career in aviation or engineering.
  • Training and certification in SMS, SMS Audit, and Risk Management.
  • Familiarity with FAA FAR and IDAC RAD regulations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence safety culture across teams.
  • Proficient English communication skills (B2 level).
  • Must be a national of the Dominican Republic.
