Outsourcing Advantage is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Estimator and Takeoffs Specialist for an electrical contractor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing architectural plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotes and takeoffs from projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and meet project requirements.Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze architectural plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine project requirements.
  • Prepare accurate takeoff quantities for materials, labor, and overhead cost estimates.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to gather information and clarify project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain estimation databases and templates for efficiency.
  • Ensure all estimates are submitted on time to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a level of C1 Advanced.
  • Proven experience as an estimator or in a similar role, ideally within the construction or architectural industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to design build projects & take offs from architectural plans without any MEP drawing
