- Manage the entire process in the planning of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities
- Leads supply chain process improvements - automation, flow simplification, category strategy implementation, etc.
- Ensure effective lines of communication between Operations and the procurement team to ensure priority requirements, timely delivery of goods, works and services using the most appropriate procurement procedures
- Be responsible for introducing process improvements in the supply chain and identify new vendors/suppliers
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and contractors that facilitate smooth flow of services
- Ensure effective use of internal Standard Operating Procedures - SOPs- in Procurement, control of workflows, continuous business processes monitoring and elaboration of improvements in systems and processes
- Manage and monitor all transactional procurement including tendering processes, evaluation, contracting, contract management, legal considerations and payment conditions, contractors, performance evaluation and risk assessment
- Implement strategic procurement including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management, customer relationship management and performance measurement
- Develop and implement systems for internal control that would ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions in collaboration with Operations Managers and other team members.
- Negotiate contract terms with the selected contractors in order to achieve the best interest of Resonance Companies
- Leads the strategy and day to day team ensuring efficient management of our inventory – storage rack , inventory and its placement for maximizing efficiency and storage space, movement analysis, climate / ambient requirements depending on items being stored, etc.
- Leads continuous improvement activities to optimize efficiency within the warehouse – cost, labor hours, transactional efficiency, etc. Partners with other departments as required to implement required improvement programs.
- Industrial Engineering/Business Administration degree or related areas.
- 5+ years management experience
- Advanced English
- Intensively curious
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written
- Certified Supply Chain Professional preferred.
- Knowledge of CAFTA and other regulations.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
