Job Description:Quality Assurance ManagerBarrick is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join the Expansion Team. This role will be responsible for all Quality related aspects during the project. This includes, mainly, civils works, but also mechanical, piping and electricals.Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the construction quality program requirements for the project.
Planning and management of CQA resources.
Generates together with his team the Key Management Indicators, providing an analysis of their evolution and proposals for their improvement.
Assure that proper construction, materials, techniques and procedures/specifications are adopted by the Contractors and/or the owner team.
Assure that the Naranjo TSF is built in accordance with the design drawings and specifications.
Identify and define problems that may occur during construction and to verify that these problems are corrected/mitigated prior to construction completion.
Conduct and document pre-construction, daily, and weekly planning and progress meetings.
Maintain project records of testing and inspections.
Working in collaboration with the field engineering team, manage design change reports between home office, suppliers, and fabricators.
Maintain daily field construction inspection reports, construction activities, testing activities, and observation and data sheets.
Periodic report preparation both during and at end of project.
Manage the activities and performance of discipline quality inspectors in your team.

Qualifications:

Engineer in Geology and/or Civil Engineering, or related field, specialized in Quality Management.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Microsoft Office
QA Processes
Soil and rock laboratory instruments
At least 10 years of construction quality experience in related works and projects. Preferably developing and implementing construction quality programs.
Geotechnical experience
Experience in ailing Storage Facility construction
