The company is founder-led, lean, and execution-focused, with a strong emphasis on delivering real-world outcomes for customers.Role OverviewThe Operations Specialist / Deployment Strategist serves as the execution backbone of the deployment team, ensuring that customer data is accurate, suppliers are engaged, and sourcing events run smoothly. This role exists to support rapid client onboarding and platform deployment by owning the tactical layer of operations.You will spend most of your time working deeply in Excel—cleaning, validating, and structuring datasets—while also communicating with US-based suppliers to ensure engagement on the platform. The role is highly execution-focused, requiring both analytical precision and strong communication skills.This is a fast-paced, high-accountability environment where you will work closely with founders and operate with minimal oversight. Candidates who thrive here are proactive, detail-oriented, energetic, and comfortable balancing data work with external communication.Your Impact:You will ensure that customer data is clean, structured, and reliable—directly enabling successful sourcing events and platform performance. Your work will drive supplier responsiveness, reducing delays and increasing engagement across procurement workflows.You will help streamline deployment operations, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors in onboarding and execution. By maintaining high-quality data and consistent supplier follow-ups, you will contribute to strong client outcomes and satisfaction.Within your first 90 days, you will be expected to independently manage client workflows and contribute to seamless end-to-end deployment execution. Over time, your performance may open opportunities to take on more strategic, client-facing responsibilities.Core ResponsibilitiesData Cleaning & Analytics – 60%
- Clean, structure, and validate supplier and product datasets using Excel
- Perform data quality checks to identify inconsistencies, missing values, and formatting issues
- Build formula-driven models using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and IF functions
- Ensure all datasets are organized, scalable, and reproducible (no hard-coded values)
- Compare extracted data with source documents to validate accuracy
- Flag and resolve data issues before they impact deployment
- Contact US-based suppliers to drive engagement on the platform (not cold outreach)
- Follow structured communication scripts and improve delivery over time
- Track supplier responses and follow up persistently to ensure completion
- Maintain clear communication records and escalate issues when necessary
- Build confidence and professionalism in phone-based interactions
- Maintain supplier and product records within the platform
- Support end-to-end execution of sourcing events
- Assist in onboarding new clients and managing workflows
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements
- Progress toward owning client accounts independently based on performance
- 1–3+ years of hands-on experience using Excel in a professional environment
- Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, IF formulas, and data cleaning
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written), with confidence in phone conversations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- High energy, proactive communication style, and strong follow-through
- Strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving ability
- Willingness to learn, adapt quickly, and grow within the role
- Background in consulting (1–2 years preferred)
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor coordination
- Exposure to data analysis using Python
